Keeping our sisters in prayer!

April 24, 2011All-Chapter Announcements

As times flies by, with each of us tending to our families, our jobs and our dedication to our Hawaiian culture and customs, let’s all make sure we remember those sisters who has been ill and unable to attend our Na Wahine Hui O Kamehameha meetings of events. Also keep in prayer those sisters who have passed on…Remember once a sister of Na Wahine Hui O Kamehameha, The Royal Order of Kamehameha 1, always a sister!
Marlene Wood, active member of Hawaii Chapter 1, passed away March 20, 2011
Winona Barringer, past member of Kamuali`i Chapter 3, past moku Pelekikena and State Pelekikena, passed away April 6, 2011
Alma Ahuna, Hawaii Chapter 1, trustee, who is recovering from a lengthy illness, was just released from Kaiser Hospital after over a one month stay… keep her in daily prayers.
Leilani Chung, Hawaii Chapter 1, Health and Welfare chairwoman, recovering from leg surgery.
Also remember in prayer the passing of past Ali`i Clifford Anderson, who died on the mainland and Ali`i Peter Ching of Oregon, who passed away recently!
yes times goes by so quickly… let us not forget!
