Membership is open to any female eighteen years or older with the commitment to the preservation and perpetuation of traditional Hawaiian values and culture and the
willingness to acknowledge and support the ideals and objectives of the men of The Royal Order of Kamehameha I, Hawai’i Chapter 1.
You will need to obtain one sponsor signature from a current member.

Nā Wahine ‘O Kamehameha
Being a woman who is involved with her Hawaiian history, culture and traditions is just part of belongs to one of the oldest Hawaiian societies. Come meet and join the women of Na Wahine ‘O Kamehameha on the first thursday of each month, at the Kana‘ina Building on ‘Iolani Palace grounds. Meeting starts at 6:30 p.m., Hawaiian dress attire. Visit us to see what we do and our activities, then decide if this is something you would want to become involved with. applications can be received at our meeting.
We meet twice a month, the first Thursday is our business meeting and third Thursday our Nā Mea, or social meeting to learn crafts, hear speakers or practice for our song contest in October! We have an annual convention on rotating islands in October and many ceremonies, parades and activities the year. We have Chapters in Honolulu, Kapolei, Maui, Kauai, Hilo and Kona. We are the counterpart of the men of the Royal Order of Kamehameha 1, and we stand in support of our men. Join us, share your talents and mana‘o and grow with us!
